Born in London on 13 September 1898, Thomas Suter was living in WA by 1932, when he joined the Freemasons in Carnarvon. He enlisted in the RAAF in West Perth on 29 January 1942, being discharged in February 1945 with the rank of Leading Aircraftman, decorated with three medals.
